Scholarship Program
FWHA is pleased to host two scholarship programs to support girls and women in the Fairbanks community! Each year we will give scholarships (up to $1000 for dues/gear/travel) to two age-8 and up girls that need help to play hockey. We will also provide one scholarship good for FWHA league fees to one adult female player. These scholarships are need based and will require a recommendation or letter of hardship. No financial evidence is needed. The scholarship period will be open during the summer and scholarships awarded in late August.

Committee evaluation
The FWHA Scholarship Committee will evaluate all scholarships for accuracy and need. They will then choose amongst the eligible applicants based on their statements. Applicants are welcome to apply even if they have received a scholarship in the past.
2025-2026 Women's League Scholarship
The Fairbanks Women's Hockey Association has a scholarship available for the Women's League that will fully cover dues for one player.

Fairbanks Women's Hockey Association has 2 scholarships that will cover up to $1,000 worth of dues for the upcoming season for two players.
